Introduction
To rethink and replan business processes to reach a substantial improvement in performance. This could be the definition of the BPR (Business Process Re-engineering) methodology that considers the base processes horizontally through the breaking down business area barriers. To win against new cultural, managerial, organizational and technical challenges the company needs to revise the processes quickly in order to conform to new market demands. The competitive scenery is much too dynamic to withstand improvement delays and Business Process Reengineering can provide concrete answers to these demands. Objectives The aims of this course are to set out the potential of management processes, to consolidate a methodological scheme for the improvement of key processes, to experiment the principal techniques of process re-engineering.
