NOTE: This book is currently only available in Italian.
Within organizations the management of inter-personal relationships has become more and more important nowadays. To learn to manage these aspects has become a fundamental ability for the efficiency of companies and corporate bodies. There is increased need to communicate the characteristics and activities of the structure externally, but even more important is the need to communicate strategies and to share objectives internally.
Studies carried out on this subject have produced a now consolidated theory and a series of methodologies that should be the cultural baggage of every Manager responsible for the management of collaborators within their reference area.
Only the mastery of these techniques enables effective communication achieving superior results in the transmission, and especially in retention, of the message. Widening the range towards the outside we must also state the importance of inter-personal communication towards clients, suppliers, partners and all other stakeholders in direct contact with the structure.
Effective management of relationships must not ignore the continuous improvement of one’s own relationship abilities through an awareness of all elements key of communication. In fact, we should not forget that communication, apart from oral communication, can be effected using looks, facial expressions, the tone of voice, movements, positions, body language, and the way of dressing.
This operational manual, using simple language and many examples taken from daily working life, has been created to furnish the essential knowledge to be able to better manage inter-personal relationships. Starting from an analysis of how messages are transmitted to obtain the rules and to define its pragmatics, the principal styles of behavior are analyzed, the mechanisms of negotiation communication and finally non-verbal communication.
